The festival’s film week takes place every year with the goal of introducing interested people to the films of the silent era. This year the film week takes place at the same as the competition section. There are two screenings for the film week every day for three days. The screenings take place in Wells Hall, B-Wing, Michigan State University, East Lansing Michigan, room 119.

- Metropolis (1927)
- The Kid (1921)
- The Gold Rush (1925)
- The General (1927)
- Faust (1926)
- Battleship Potemkin (1925)
