Ramtin Shahbazi (born in 1978) is a lecturer in some of the top art universities in Iran (University of Art, Tehran University & Sooreh University) and an award winning researcher focusing on interdisciplinary studies based on cinema and theater. He is also a PhD student of Philosophy of Art. He has presented a number of essays in national and international conferences including Tehran Semiotics Tehran and Tehran University Comparative Literature. He has written two books titled "Cultural semiotics of literature and theater history (1921-1951)" and "A Query on Film Sociology". He also participated in writing some other books.
After a Master's degree in Art and Media at University, He graduated in Film Directing at the Italian National Film School in Rome. Dario directed commercials, educational video, dance movie, concerts, live events, documentaries and short films screened in international festivals. He has work as film director, videographer, storyteller, screenwriter, cinematographer, camera, video editor, soundtrack composer and a/v live performer. With a DAAD scholarship, on 2013, Dario moved to Berlin to work on his new film project at Universitat der Kunste.
Sarah (born in 1984) is an Iranian freelance illustrator and animation director. She has a BA in Graphic Design from Tehran University and holds an MA in Animation directing from Tarbiat Modarres University. She is also a member of Asifa and Iranian Illustrators Society. She has directed the short animation "Lady with Flower-Hair" (2012) and the music video "From the Easter Lands" (2015). Her works have been screened in several animation and illustration festivals. She is the founder and designer of "Sarah Products" since 2002.
Amin Dehqan is a comic artist, writer and a filmmaker. He has worked on many advertising, TV show, short film and video game projects as a cinematographer, concept designer, storyboard designer, and visual developer. He is currently working with Manijeh Mohamedi on her new upcoming play.
Gianluca (16 July 1985) is an Italian filmmaker and an academic researcher. After a MA in Architectural Engineering and a theatre experience as assistant director and actor, Gianluca moved to York in 2012 to start a Ph.D. programme at the Department of Theatre, Film and Television of the University of York. Here he developed a research on the influence that the use of visual effects has on film directing. In November 2013 he founded the production company 'Whip Ma Whop Ma Film' and produced/directed the silent short films Numeri (2013) and Admission (2014) which have been screened in several film festivals around the world.
Mohammad Haddadi received his BA in cinema (cinematography) from Tehran University of Art. He has been the D.O.P of more than 120 feature and documentary films. In 2016 at the 13th International Documentary Film Festival CRONOGRAF, in Chisinau, Moldova, he received the award for best image (cinematography). He also won the Best Image (cinematography) Award at the 9th Cinema Verite, Iran international documentary film festival in 2015. Furthermore, he received the award for Best cinematography at the 27th Tehran international short film festival. He also was a nominee for the best cinematography award at the Fajr International Film festival in 2016. Haddadi was a member of the selection committee of the first Globe International Silent Film Festival in 2015, as well as the 11th Nahal Student Short Film Festival in 2014.
